ECHO PARK

The Lake, the Park, the Stadium & the Victorians.

Echo park, 90026

Echo Park is made up of multiple micro neighborhoods including Elysian Park, home to Dodger Stadium, Angelino Heights, one of the older historic neighborhoods in Los Angeles, and Echo Park extending from Silverlake to China town, stretching along Sunset blvd and bordered by the 5 & 101 freeway. Echo Park has always been known for it’s diverse populations, creative intersection of people and a Laurel Canyon esque hillside feel stretching deep into Elysian Park. Filled with music venues, Mexican restaurants, and upscale wine bars and eateries, there is always a lot to do. Dodger Stadium sets the scene for half the year with the weekly dodger games and exclusive world class entertainment.

Echo Park Lake was redesigned and is a multi-cultural mix of people and elements. Basquing in the beautiful downtown skyline backdrop, a thousand palm trees and the the annual blooming lotuses, the lake serves as a communal hotspot, a park for the mamas and the babies, a place to peruse local culture and food and a sunny piece of grassy real estate which you can picnic upon all day long.

Angelino Heights borders Echo Park lake and is a historic neighborhood filled with homes dating back to the 1880s. Local building booms in the 1880’s and again in the early 1900’s filled this area with architecturally significant structures such as the Famous Victorians on Carrol Street or the large and equally stunning Craftsman homes along Kensington Blvd. This area is preserved through a stringent HPOZ but is well cared for and a popular tourist attraction as many movies and music videos were made at some of these homes.
